Ms. Saran Kaur

Academic Head

Ms. Saran is an experienced international educator with over 9 years of teaching International curriculum including the International Baccalaureate and Cambridge, in South East Asian countries (Indonesia), teaching students from multicultural backgrounds and learning local languages – to go with her fluency in Hindi, Bengali, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia and Punjabi. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Education from the University of Bath, United Kingdom, to add to International Diplomas in Early Childhood  and Primary Education and an Honors Bachelor Degree in English Literature. She has completed her Post Graduate Diploma in School Leadership and Management. She has significant experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in IB Schools. She strives to make teaching and learning fun and meaningful for her students. At Sarvalokaa she oversees the whole school curriculum, facilitates the teacher training programs and enrichment programs for parents as well. She is also a mentor for the Cambridge International Certificate of Teaching and Learning at Sarvalokaa.
Apart from teaching, her interests lie in art and culture, reading books on child psychology as well as vegan cooking.

Ms. Uma Maheswari

Middle & High School Coordinator, English Educator

Ms. Uma Maheswari, Middle and High School coordinator as well English Language facilitator for Grade 8 and 9. She has done her Masters in English Language &  Literature  from Madras Christian College and Bachelors in Education from Stella Matutina College of Education. She is a  Cambridge Certified Teacher For English as First Language, CIDTL Mentor for Teacher training Programme.
She comes with 17 yrs of experience in the field of Education as Mentor, Educator , Teacher Trainer and a leader.She has worked abroad for over a decade with various curriculums such as Singapore, American and Cambridge.As a committed educator she has mentored students who have become world toppers in English as First Language, Economics and Math in Cambridge IGCSE & A level Examinations.
Ms. Uma is a passionate mentor and facilitator always looking for ways to bring in best practices in teaching and learning. She believes all children are unique and one size doesn’t fit all. She  along with her team would be discovering students’ varying learning styles, ensuring each student’s unique academic needs are met.

Ms. Mahashweta

Primary Coordinator, Grade 4 Homeroom, French & Green Educator

Mahashweta is a passionate and experienced educator with over 7 years of experience in teaching International curriculums such as IB and Cambridge. She has graduated from Sri Aurobindo International Center of Education (Pondicherry). The integral education sought in her childhood has given her the experience and understanding in teaching and learning in a holistic way.She has studied in France where she received her Master’s Degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language from the University of Poitiers and has taught French in  Alliance Française of Bombay and Chennai, French Institute of Pondicherry and an international School in the city. She is proficient  in French, English and Bengali, as well as having a sound understanding of German, Hindi, Tamil and Sanskrit. At Sarvalokaa, she is the Primary Coordinator as well as the Grade 4 Homeroom teacher and French expert. She believes “Education is not filling a bucket but lighting a fire”. She strives to make learning a joyful, experiential, fun and impactful process for her students. She is completing the Green Educators course from Green school Bali  and  is currently pursuing a course in Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching & Learning. Mahashweta is constantly looking for innovative approaches to apply in teaching and learning practices and enjoys facilitating workshops in the school. Her hobbies include traveling, gardening,reading, sea swimming, painting and exploring different cultures and cuisines!

Ms. Kavitha Mahesh

Pre Primary Coordinator, Toddler Educator

Ms. Kavitha has an overall 14 years of experience in teaching. She is a trained Waldorf Teacher for over 13 years  and was a Kindergarten Coordinator for 9 years. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources and Post Graduate Diploma in Pre and Primary Teacher Training. She has attended various Waldorf trainings on Early Childhood, Child Development, Medical training and Curative Education. She believes in inculcating ideas from Montessori and other philosophies to make learning holistic. She has a passion to work with young children and parents to make the learning joyful and provide an unhurried childhood. She believes in guiding children to be life - long learners.

PP 1 Educator

Durga is an energetic and enthusiastic Montessori teacher with 6 years of experience in kindergarten. With a Masters in Human development and a certification in Montessori, she is committed to help the children become independent and self regulated. Being a passionate teacher, she believes her strength is her ability to connect with children.. She promotes creativity and hands-on learning in her classroom. Along with teaching  Ms Durga enjoys origami, crafts and loves singing songs. She believes in creating a safe,supportive, stimulating and positive learning environment for the holistic development of the children.

Ms. Priyadarshni

PP 2 Educator

Priyadarshni is a calm and Friendly Pre- Primary facilitator with 5 years’ experience. She  holds a masters degree from Madras University. Her personal interests are listening to music, gardening, cooking/baking, art and designing. She  was a part of a reading club and many workshops where she explored various educational topics like Waldorf Education theory, Doll making, Reggio Emilio Philosophy, Zone of Proximal development, multiple intelligences, pros and cons of Montessori education, methods of assessment, etc.
Being a goal oriented person with tons of patience, she gel with kids and train them in the required areas with utmost care and concern for achieving the educational goals. She is confident and always tries to imbibe positivity in children. She always would like to work in a lively and fun environment which encourages learning through exploring and focuses on differentiated teaching in classrooms.
Her passion to work with young children and her highlights of the day will be when she sees a child's eyes light up as they learn something new. She feels happy when she contributes and supports a child’s personal, academic and social progress at this crucial stage of their overall brain development. She strongly believes, no day at this job is ever the same and every other situation is a learning experience for her to be a right role model to young children.

Ms. Sahithyaa is a commerce graduate with 5 years of experience in a Waldorf inspired school. She considers herself as an energetic and dedicated person with a passion to learn more. She loves and finds solace being with children and strongly believes that children are the purest souls! She has also attended various workshops on doll making, charcoal painting and story- telling. She enjoys it the most when her class is all lively and filled with laughter. She finds creative ways everytime, to reach children when it comes to academics or art and craft. Apart from being an educator, she likes reading books, riding bikes, traveling and learning new things. She tries to instill courage and fearlessness in her class, thereby they get to face the world with more confidence.

Rachel is an energetic and compassionate teacher, who holds a masters degree in Engineering. She brings in the flavor of entrepreneurial skills through her varied experience within baking confectionery and cake artistry. She has been teaching in colleges prior to her stint with Sarvalokaa. She aims to give children creative, challenging, balanced and wholesome learning experiences.

Grade 1 Homeroom Educator

Sowparnika GK is an enthusiastic teacher, avid reader and storyteller. An engineer by qualification, teaching was her calling hailing from a family of teachers. She has worked earlier with an education application and volunteered for over three years in schools in Chicago. She is versatile and talented in art. She has also published a book for children on emotions. The transformation of children through facilitation of learning fascinates her and keeps her motivated  on learning more as she believes that a teacher is a learner too. She is currently pursuing her Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning.

Ms Bhuvaneswari has completed her Bachelors in Commerce and  Post graduate in Information and Technology at National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli. She Started a career in the field of Special education in 2015 after15 years of globetrotting and taking care of the family. A person with high motivation and open to learning. A highly sociable person with a lot of commitment in performing any task. Her passion and interest is to work with children with learning differences and make a positive change in their lives and integrate with mainstream education.She is a Certified Educational Therapist with 7 years of in depth experience in helping children with special needs Children.

Ms. Hiranmayee is a chemistry enthusiast with a great passion for teaching. She holds a masters degree in organic chemistry from Loyola Academy, Hyderabad. She also has 6 years of research experience having worked as a research scholar at IGCAR, Kalpakkam. She has 2 full-article papers in ACS applied materials and interfaces and Journal of Nuclear Chemistry. Her motto is to make children enjoy learning by understanding the concepts and applications in the real world.

Ms. Aaisha is a dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven professional educator with a solid commitment to the social and academic growth and development of every child. With a masters degree in English Language Teaching from The English and Foreign Languages University, she comes with over 5 years of experience in the teaching and training English. She is currently pursuing a TEFL certification. Her passion for literature, reading and teaching helps her in introducing concepts into curriculum related to life and social skills. Grade 4 Homeroom, Digital Literacy Educator - Primary

Ms. Ramya is a wildlife enthusiast with an eye for wildlife photography and regard for animal welfare. She believes compassion and empathy are some of the most valuable traits that we can teach our children as a part of socio-emotional values. Being a part of a green school, she intends to instill a sense of respect for mother nature in her learners. She aims to make her students eco-ready and promote in them a love for the natural world. She has 3 years of experience as an IGCSE - Primary teacher and ICT educator. She is currently pursuing Cambridge International Certificate for Teaching and Learning. Shweta Vidya Rangan, is an educationalist with over a decade of experience in the field of educational research & development. She is a Computer Science engineer and pursuing her masters in “Advanced Teaching” from an American university. She has conducted teacher training, webinars, and workshops. She also holds a “Coach” certificate in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), a management certificate from IIM and has served as a coordinator for a leading college. She has worked on UN projects and with many international organizations on the “Future of Education” and “ Human Security” . Shweta is an avid reader and enjoys books on Spirituality and Literature. She strongly believes in lifelong learning and her passion is directed toward researching holistic curriculums. Shweta loves all kinds of sports, movies and music and is a linguaphile. She brings a plethora of experiences to her classroom.

Ms. Akansha is a warm and caring teacher who wants all children to be successful learners and works to create a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating, encouraging, and adaptive to the varied needs of students.
She has an experience of over 17 years in teaching and has worked in many reputed organizations pan India. She holds a Bachelors degree from University of Allahabad and a Post graduate diploma in textile design from IIFT, New Delhi.
