Ms. Saran Kaur
Principal
Ms. Saran is a highly experienced international educator with over 15 years in International Education, including extensive teaching experience across the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Cambridge curriculum throughout SouthEast Asia, particularly in Indonesia. She has worked with learners from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and is fluent in Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi, Bahasa Indonesia, and Bahasa Malaysia, demonstrating her ability to connect deeply with multicultural communities.
She holds a Master’s Degree in International Education from the University of Bath, United Kingdom, along with International Diplomas in Early Childhood and Primary Education, an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature, a Post Graduate Diploma in School Leadership and Management, and an International Teaching and Learning Certificate from the International Baccalaureate (IB). She also brings significant expertise in English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction within IB schools.
A committed literacy enthusiast, Ms. Saran leads literacy and culture programs at Sarvalokaa, mentoring learners to develop strong reading, writing, and comprehension skills while cultivating a deep love for literature, self-expression, and cultural inquiry. As a green educator, she integrates environmental consciousness into her teaching practices, fostering sustainability, mindfulness, and ecological awareness among students.
She is also trained in Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Project Zero frameworks, which strengthen her ability to design inquiry-driven, visible-thinking–based learning experiences that promote creativity, deep understanding, and reflective learning habits. Her Cambridge Leadership training further enhances her capacity to build collaborative learning communities, support instructional excellence, and lead school-wide innovation with clarity and vision.
At Sarvalokaa, she oversees the entire school curriculum, facilitates comprehensive teacher training programs, and leads enrichment sessions for parents. She also serves as a mentor for the Cambridge International Certificate of Teaching and Learning, supporting teachers in developing reflective, evidence-based practices and advancing their professional growth.
In addition to her academic leadership, Ms. Saran is a certified parent coach, guiding families in nurturing their children’s holistic development and learning journeys. Her personal passions - art and culture, child psychology, reading, and vegan cooking, add depth to her holistic and humanistic approach to education.

Mr. John Kurian
Vice Principal
Mr. John Kurian, is an experienced facilitator and leader with a demonstrated history of working in the education industry for the last 25 years. Mr. Kurian joined the Chettinad - Sarvaloka Education Family as a Vice Principal from the academic year 2023-24. Having 15 years of rich experience in Cambridge Curriculum specialised with ICT/IT and worked as a Cambridge Coordinator, Exams officer & IT Educator in different Cambridge Schools in India and Abroad. He is an English Literature graduate who also completed his Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and has done various Computer courses such as PGDCA, DCA, DIT in his career. Besides that, he is a trained Cambridge Educator and has done Google Educator courses to enhance his professional knowledge.
His objective is to be a part of the school to work with commitment, share the knowledge & experience to help the institution to achieve its objectives and mould the learners as global citizens. Along with academic rigour, he focuses on pastoral care and well-being, mindfulness, digital technology, E-Learning, and mentoring.
He enjoys his life with a positive attitude and spends time in spiritual activities, yoga, blogging, gardening, cooking etc to engage the body and mind in a balanced way.

Ms. Revathy Indragopal
School Co-Ordinator / Exams Officer / Subject Lead-French
Ms. Revathy is an accomplished educator and leader with over a decade of experience in international education. A B.Tech graduate in Information Technology, she transitioned from a successful leadership role in the French corporate sector to pursue her passion for teaching French and educational leadership.
She holds a C1 certification in French from Alliance Française of Madras and is a Cambridge-certified French facilitator. She has extensive experience teaching French across the Cambridge curriculum, including IGCSE and AS Level, and has also taught the IB Diploma Programme (French ab initio and French B SL). Throughout her career, she has worked with learners from diverse cultural backgrounds, fostering a love for languages and intercultural understanding.
Beyond the classroom, Ms. Revathy serves as the whole School Coordinator, leading Cambridge programmes, mentoring facilitators, and overseeing academic administration to ensure excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment across the school. She is also the Cambridge Examinations Officer, and Head of the French Department, where she leads curriculum implementation, academic quality assurance, assessment practices, and school-wide educational initiatives.
Committed to lifelong learning, she has completed a PG diploma in School Leadership & Management and is currently pursuing an MBA in Operations and actively explores innovative approaches to educational leadership, quality management, and continuous school improvement. She is passionate about integrating technology, process excellence, and learner-centred practices along with experiential learning to enhance teaching and learning.
Ms. Revathy believes that education extends beyond academic achievement—it is about nurturing confident, responsible, reflective, innovative, and engaged learners who are prepared to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Ms. Preetha Gadigachalan
Academic Coordinator
Ms. Preetha Gadigachalan is an educator and academic leader with over 12 years of experience in Science education and academic leadership across the CBSE and Cambridge IGCSE curricula. She holds a Master's degree in Education, an M.Phil. in Microbiology, and is a Gold Medalist in Biomedical Sciences. She is also CTET qualified and was recognised among the top 10 percentile globally in the International Teachers Olympiad. As part of her commitment to continuous professional development, she has completed the Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning (CICTL) and is currently pursuing the Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching and Learning (CIDTL).
At Chettinad Sarvalokaa Education, Ms. Preetha serves as the Academic Coordinator, supporting curriculum planning, instructional practices, and teacher development across the school. She works closely with facilitators to strengthen teaching and learning while fostering an engaging and collaborative academic environment.

Ms. Akansha Jaiswal
Green Education Coordinator & Secondary Biology Facilitator
Akansha is an experienced Biology educator with over two decades of expertise in teaching and learning across schools in India. She holds a Postgraduate in Textile Design, along with a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Education in Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry from Allahabad University. Throughout her career, she has taught Biology across ICSE and Cambridge curricula, including Cambridge Lower Secondary, IGCSE, and Cambridge AS & A Level. Her learner-centred approach nurtures scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and academic excellence, empowering students to become confident, independent learners.
Committed to lifelong learning, Ms. Akansha continually enhances her expertise through professional development in international education, curriculum design, assessment, and innovative pedagogy. She also holds certifications in Sanskrit and Hawaiian Guitar. Her early experience with the Akanksha Foundation (Teach For India) strengthened her commitment to inclusive, purpose-driven education. Ms. Meera is a Cambridge-certified educator with over 14 years of experience teaching English. She is an avid reader and loves discussing books with her learners, as she strongly believes that it promotes empathy and tolerance in addition to improving comprehension skills. As someone who appreciates the power of language and words, she is very keen on inculcating a love for reading in young minds. She is dedicated to ensuring that her classroom is a safe space where all learners are heard, valued, and understood.

Ms. Srujana
Mentor – Upper Primary / French Facilitator - Lower Secondary / IGCSE
Ms. Srujana is an IB trained French Educator with a decade of experience, specializing in both the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in International Education (IBEC) from Christ University, Bangalore and Ms. Srujana holds a DELF-B2 from Alliance francaise de Madras. Ms Bhuvaneswari has completed her Bachelors in Commerce and Post graduate in Information and Technology at National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli. She has also completed her Masters in Arts/ Psychology. She started a career in the field of Special education in 2015 after 15 years of globetrotting. A person with high motivation and open to learning, her passion and interest is to work with children with learning differences and make a positive change in their lives. She is a Certified Educational Therapist with 7 years of in depth experience in helping children with special needs. She is a certified Cambridge facilitator who has completed her Cambridge teaching and learning certification with a distinction. She believes every learner has the potential to achieve with the correct guidance and facilitation.

Ms. Marieta Restrepo brings with her an impressive 26 years of experience in education. Ms. Restrepo has worked as a teacher, school principal, coordinator, and her diverse background has given her a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities in schools today.
She is passionate about promoting sustainability, equity and ensuring that all students have access to the resources and support they need to succeed.
As our Early Years and Primary Years coordinator, Mrs. Restrepo is excited to build on the strong foundation that has been established at our school. Service Learning Coordinator
Ms. Lalitha Prakash brings the perspective of a successful career in banking and financial services into education, with over 20 years of professional experience spanning education, banking, financial services, training, and stakeholder engagement. Drawing on a strong academic foundation in commerce, economics, accounting, taxation, finance, and business management, she also holds a Distinction in the Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning (CICTL). Ms. Valarmathi J
Grade 2A Homeroom Facilitator
Ms. Valarmathi is an experienced and versatile international educator with over a decade of teaching experience across IB PYP, TEFL, and EAL programs. She is skilled in inquiry-based learning, differentiated instruction, and supporting multilingual learners.
She holds an IB PYP Certificate in Teaching and Learning from Bethel University, Minnesota, and has completed the TTC International EAL Certificate modules in EAL in the Mainstream Classroom and Instructing and Assessing Multilingual Learners, equipped with strategies to effectively support learners from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Ms. Priyadarshini Kesavan
Green Education Co-ordinator (Primary level) and Grade 3 A Home-room facilitator
Ms. Priyadarshini is a dedicated educator with over nine years of experience teaching the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. A Computer Science Engineering graduate, she began her career in the software industry before transitioning into education, where she found her true passion. With a strong focus on continuous professional growth, she holds the Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching and Learning (CIDTL) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), equipping her to deliver learner-centred instruction grounded in international best practices.
As a Primary facilitator, Ms. Priyadarshini fosters an engaging, inclusive classroom where curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration thrive through experiential and inquiry-based learning. She believes that meaningful learning unfolds when learners are given the space to explore, question, and build understanding through hands-on experiences.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and has been a part of Chettinad Sarvalokaa Education for the past year. As a Grade 3 Facilitator, she works closely with young learners to foster their academic, social, and emotional growth through engaging and interactive learning experiences.
Ms. Sri Shreya believes that every learner can thrive in an inclusive and supportive environment where they feel safe to express their ideas, thoughts, and feelings. She strives to create a classroom culture that encourages curiosity, collaboration, confidence, and a lifelong love for learning.

Ms. Umamaheswari J
Home Room Facilitator- Grade 4, Math Facilitator-Primary / Middle School
Ms.Uma is a dedicated , enthusiastic educator and a lifelong learner. She holds her B.Sc (Math), MBA and B.Ed (Math). She has been into teaching for the last 5 years as a Homeroom facilitator for Primary learners. With Learner-centered approach, she helped the learners to develop their fundamental skills by using activity based learning and experiential methods.
With a strong expertise in creating engaging interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles, she has made a marked difference in the learners’ learning.

Ms. Bella Mary Jose
Grade 4 Homeroom Facilitator
Ms. Bella is an enthusiastic, Cambridge-certified educator with four years of demonstrated experience teaching in primary schools across the United Kingdom and India. She is a highly qualified education professional, holding both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature, as well as a Master’s degree in Education Management from Coventry University, UK. In addition, she holds professional certifications including CELTA, TEFL, and Level 3 Child Psychology.
Her teaching experience spans both mainstream and special education settings, reflecting her inclusive and adaptable approach to learning. Her philosophy in education roots in self- discovery through holistic learning. She believes in student- centric classrooms that nurtures passion and growth by creating a safe space.

Ms. Rohini C
Tamil / ICT Middle school
Ms. Rohini is an experienced educator with 8 years of teaching experience, including 8 years in the Cambridge curriculum and 1 year in the NIOS curriculum. She holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), enabling her to combine strong subject knowledge with effective and learner-centred teaching practices.
She is currently serving as an ICT Facilitator for Grades 6 and a Tamil Facilitator for Grades 3 to 9 at Chettinad Sarvalokaa Education. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she is an active member of the Examination Cell Committee.
Although her teaching career began as a Computer Science educator, her deep interest and passion for the Tamil language inspired her to expand into Tamil education. She has successfully taught Tamil across multiple grade levels, nurturing learners' language proficiency while fostering an appreciation for Tamil literature, culture, and heritage. She has also contributed to the development and implementation of the Mandatory Tamil Curriculum Framework, supporting curriculum planning, alignment, and effective classroom delivery.
She is committed to creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences through experiential learning, inquiry-based teaching, and interactive classroom practices. She is skilled in facilitating critical thinking, effective communication, classroom innovation, technology integration, and student mentoring, ensuring that learners develop both academic competence and essential life skills.

Ms. Sharanya Mohan
High School English Facilitator
Sharanya Mohan brings over 12 years of experience as a Cambridge-certified English Language teacher. With a professional background across radio production, journalism, advertising, and copywriting, she brings a strong media and content-driven perspective into the classroom, shaping engaging and contemporary learning experiences.
She places strong value on professional learning and stays closely engaged with evolving teaching practices. Sharanya is committed to creating classroom spaces where learners feel heard, supported, and confident in their voices. While English is her area of specialisation, she approaches teaching as a dynamic role that involves guiding inquiry, encouraging critical thinking, and building meaningful connections.
Outside the classroom, Sharanya enjoys painting and photography, and finds travel an essential source of inspiration. When she is not teaching or building connections with people, she is likely exploring new places. She views education as a shared journey, where both facilitator and learner continue to learn through every experience.

Dr. Krithika Muthu

Dr. Krithika Muthu brings over seven years of experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum across Biology, Global Perspectives, and Performing Arts. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), a Bachelor of Science in Biology (BS) from the Philippines, and the Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning (CICTL). Although trained as a physician, she chose education as her true calling, driven by a passion for working with children and inspiring lifelong learning. A valued member of the Sarvalokaa community for the past four years, she creates learner centred experiences grounded in inquiry, critical thinking, and meaningful connections.
With over two decades of experience in the performing arts, Dr. Krithika is a trained Bharatanatyam artist who began performing at the age of four and holds a Diploma in Bharatanatyam. She also brings experience in contemporary, fusion, and other dance forms, enriching her teaching with creativity, discipline, and artistic expression.
Beyond the classroom, Dr. Krithika is a state level athlete and a passionate mural artist. She believes education is about nurturing curiosity, creativity, and confidence, creating spaces where both learners and educators continue to grow through every experience.

Suriya Prakash holds a Master's in Information Technology from KTU University, Europe, a Bachelor of Education, and has successfully completed the Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning (CICTL). With seven years of teaching experience, he is dedicated to nurturing young minds. Rooted in the core values of Cambridge education, he prioritizes critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and holistic development. Ms. Iswarya, a Compassionate Educator with 6 years of experience in School counseling and teaching psychology. She holds a Master's degree in Psychology, augmented with a Bachelor's in Education. She possesses certifications in School and Family Counseling as well as Soft Skills Training, with additional accreditation as a Train the Trainer. She approaches with empathy and a commitment to student well-being, she offers individual counseling, wellness sessions, and tailored programs to promote mental wellness within the school community. She empowers learners with essential psychological skills such as stress management, mindfulness, and self-esteem building which creates passion for mental wellness towards a supportive school community where learners can develop resilience and reach their full potential.

Ms. Sreekala is an experienced and passionate Physics facilitator and a Subject Lead with over 23 years of teaching experience across various educational settings. With a strong academic foundation - holding a Master’s Degree in Physics, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Education- she brings both depth of knowledge and effective teaching strategies to the classroom.
Over the years, Ms. Sreekala has nurtured generations of learners, many of whom have gone on to achieve outstanding academic performance including distinctions at national levels and “Top in the world” ranks in international assessments.

Mr. Arun Kumar
Art & Design Facilitator, Middle School and IGCSE / AS Level
Mr.Arun holds a Bachelors in Product Designing from University of Pune and a Postgraduate Diploma in Leather goods and Accessories Design from Footwear Design and Development Institute, NOIDA. He has 3 years of experience in Design Studio - Bangalore and has worked on various home decor products including Bangalore International Airport design project. As an art and design educator he has 8 years of experience. He is recognized for supporting the integration of International Learning in the Curriculum by the British Council’s UN/IN International School Award 2017 – 2020. He completed CICTL (Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching & Learning) and Extension Cambridge IGCSE Art and Design (0400) (0989) 2020-2022. He is also passionate about Art Installation, Model making, Photography and Short film making.

Ms. Rachna Gupta
Hindi Facilitator - Primary
Ms. Rachna holds her Bachelor’s degree in Home Science from Lady Irwin College and a Masters in Social work from Delhi school of Social work. She is also an AMI Diploma holder from Navadisha Montessori Institute, Chennai.
Her over 20 years of experience as an educator, life skills coordinator, counsellor, and language facilitator in diverse schools and NGOs which adds to her dynamic teaching and learning style with the ability to connect spontaneously with various age groups.
She had been a theatre artist from National school of Drama, Delhi. She has presented Indian culture and worked actively in many community events as a volunteer, storyteller and performer during her recent stay in Yokohama, Japan.
In her current role as a Hindi facilitator, she aims to make children more able, develop love and sustain interest in the language through activity-based sessions and enriching experiences.

Ms. Sahithyaa S Chandavar

Ms. Sahithyaa S. Chandavar is a commerce graduate with nine years of teaching experience - five years in a Waldorf-inspired school and four years within the Cambridge curriculum. Energetic and dedicated, she brings genuine passion and warmth to everything she does in the classroom.
She finds deep joy and solace in the company of children, holding a firm belief that children are the purest souls. Her natural talents extend beyond teaching into the arts - she is skilled in handwork, charcoal painting, and storytelling, all of which she weaves into her lessons to make learning richer and more meaningful.
Her love for the Tamil language has shaped much of her teaching journey, driving her to help young minds not only learn the language but also understand its cultural significance through a scientific lens. She is a strong advocate for sustainable living, believing that a mindful, eco-conscious approach to life leads to greater happiness and a healthier environment. Guided by the principle of reduce, reuse, and recycle, she integrates sustainable practices - drawn from diverse cultures - into her everyday teaching.
As a member of the Exam Cell, she plays her role in ensuring the smooth and proper execution of examinations.
Outside the classroom, Ms. Sahithyaa enjoys spending time in nature, riding , and writing poetry.

Mr. Vigneshwararaja G is a Primary Art & Design Facilitator at Sarvalokaa. He is an Art Educator with BFA from Govt. College of Fine Arts, Chennai also did PG diploma in digital photography and visual communication, Tamil Nadu music and Fine arts University, Chennai.
He worked as an assistant art director in a few kollywood movies and he took part as an art director in a couple of the short films. He has 3 years teaching experience as a CBSE art educator and 4 years of experience as Cambridge educator.
He thinks as an educator we have to nurture good citizens for the future and bring out creators with uniqueness.

Prasob Prabakaran is the Director of Sports at Chettinad Sarvalokaa Education International School, with over nine years of experience in Physical Education and Sports. Holding an M.Phil. in Physical Education, he is committed to promoting holistic student development through quality sports education. Beyond his sporting achievements, Mr. Basha has a deep passion for exploring nature and engaging in outdoor activities. He is actively involved in training young learners in swimming and badminton, helping them build confidence, coordination, fitness, and essential life skills through sports.
With his extensive experience, he designs curriculum plans for younger learners, focusing on age-appropriate skill development, physical fitness, teamwork, and overall well-being. She has gained experience as an administrator having been principal of primary school for three years. In addition to being a Bachelor of Education, she has done Nursery Teachers Training and Diploma in Learning Disabilities. She is passionate and committed and takes her task as a Special Educator with utmost sincerity.

Ms. Sunita Tampi

Ms. Sunita Tampi has over 31 years of experience in the field of education of which 26 years has been with schools in the UAE following the International Baccalaureate and the Cambridge Curriculum. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Madras and a Diploma in Pre-school Education from the Avinashilingam Deemed University ,Coimbatore. She has also completed her Bachelors of Education from the Annamalai University. Ms.Sunita's interest and aptitude towards teaching children with learning differences encouraged her to specialize in the field of Inclusion in the Classroom in 2016. She believes in adopting a personalised approach to teaching students that instil confidence in their abilities and potential and encourages them to be lifelong learners and dreamers.

Theatre Facilitator
Ms. Vyshali Jeevu is a theatre practitioner, film actor, and facilitator with over 10 years of experience working with schools, colleges, and organizations. Through her company, Theatre Raabay Saamay, she designs and conducts programs that use theatre, movement, and performance arts to engage learners in meaningful ways. Along with her work as a trainer, Vyshali regularly performs in theatre productions across Chennai, Coimbatore, and Bangalore. She believes theatre is not just an art form but also a space for expression, self-discovery, and connecting with people.

Music
Torrins, a US based Music Company, in partnership with Ehsaan Noorani (of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy fame). They introduce in India a novel music education program tailor-made for schools. The core objective is to impart formal music education to children. The program is designed with an aim of building confidence, empathy, imagination, focus, and team skills in children.
