Ms. Saran Kaur

Academic Head

Ms. Saran is an experienced international educator with over 9 years of teaching International curriculum including the International Baccalaureate and Cambridge, in South East Asian countries (Indonesia), teaching students from multicultural backgrounds and learning local languages – to go with her fluency in Hindi, Bengali, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia and Punjabi. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Education from the University of Bath, United Kingdom, to add to International Diplomas in Early Childhood  and Primary Education and an Honors Bachelor Degree in English Literature. She has completed her Post Graduate Diploma in School Leadership and Management. She has significant experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in IB Schools. She strives to make teaching and learning fun and meaningful for her students. At Sarvalokaa she oversees the whole school curriculum, facilitates the teacher training programs and enrichment programs for parents as well. She is also a mentor for the Cambridge International Certificate of Teaching and Learning at Sarvalokaa.
Apart from teaching, her interests lie in art and culture, reading books on child psychology as well as vegan cooking.


Ms. Mahashweta

Primary Coordinator, Grade 4 Homeroom, French & Green Educator

Mahashweta is a passionate and experienced educator with over 7 years of experience in teaching International curriculums such as IB and Cambridge. She has graduated from Sri Aurobindo International Center of Education (Pondicherry). The integral education sought in her childhood has given her the experience and understanding in teaching and learning in a holistic way.She has studied in France where she received her Master’s Degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language from the University of Poitiers and has taught French in  Alliance Française of Bombay and Chennai, French Institute of Pondicherry and an international School in the city. She is proficient  in French, English and Bengali, as well as having a sound understanding of German, Hindi, Tamil and Sanskrit. At Sarvalokaa, she is the Primary Coordinator as well as the Grade 4 Homeroom teacher and French expert. She believes “Education is not filling a bucket but lighting a fire”. She strives to make learning a joyful, experiential, fun and impactful process for her students. She is completing the Green Educators course from Green school Bali  and  is currently pursuing a course in Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching & Learning. Mahashweta is constantly looking for innovative approaches to apply in teaching and learning practices and enjoys facilitating workshops in the school. Her hobbies include traveling, gardening,reading, sea swimming, painting and exploring different cultures and cuisines!

Science Educator

Karthiga is passionate about teaching and looks for interactive and practical teaching strategies for teaching science in class. She has completed her Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Bachelor in Education. She has published papers in the journal of Pharmacy research and Toxicology mechanisms and methods in the field of Phytotherapeutics. She believes that science is more interesting when students learn its applications in real life and science is all about ‘How’ and ‘Why’, that kindles the young mind and that which inculcates the enthusiasm of learning.


Ms. Karen Savarirayan

English Educator

Ms. Karen has over 5 years of experience in teaching English Language and Literature under the CAIE curriculum. She holds a pre-doctoral degree from the University of Madras on English language Teaching (ELT). Having completed her certificate in Teaching and Learning from the University of cambridge in 2019. As an ELT expert, she has conducted various workshops to facilitate learning of English through theatre and drama and also studied the implications of it in the classroom. Karen's classroom is a fun place to learn English through various mediums from music, dance, science and even economics! In addition to her extensive interest in learning and teaching, she also enjoys doodling, playing the ukulele, reading books and bharatanatyam. 


Ms. Srividya

Grade 7 Homeroom, Math & ICT Educator

Srividya holds Masters in Applied Mathematics from Anna University. She is also a CIDTL (Cambridge) trained faculty who strives to kindle students to become critical thinkers and outstanding individuals. Her passion for Mathematics makes her class lively and student-centric. She strongly believes that learning is a life-long process and it has three major steps: Learn, Unlearn and Relearn. With her interest in making Math experiential, she endeavors to bring the best out of the children.

PE Coordinator & Hindi Educator

Ms. Srividhya has a Master’s degree from the Maharishi Dayanand Saraswathi University and a Bachelor’s degree in Education. With over 26 years of experience facilitating Hindi across curriculums, she has worked with various educational institutions in North and South India. She has 5 years of experience in  handling  IGCSE secondary classes for Hindi as second language and supported students to excel in the language. She is enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated to provide students with various abilities to master skills to become responsible members of the community and  build a better quality of personal and social life. She strongly believes sports, fitness exercises and yoga are the vital parts of any curriculum to inculcate various skills to students like leadership, patience, discipline, team efforts, and social skills. She encourages and supports children's growth of their entire personality through physical education.

Ms Parvathi is a certified TESOL Young Learner Educator, with 17 years of experience in CBSE, IGCSE, and Waldorf schools. Compassionate and creative, she believes that a teacher is a facilitator who helps  each child to grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially in a safe environment. Sowparnika GK is an enthusiastic teacher, avid reader and storyteller. An engineer by qualification, teaching was her calling hailing from a family of teachers. She has worked earlier with an education application and volunteered for over three years in schools in Chicago. She is versatile and talented in art. She has also published a book for children on emotions. Swathy is a clinical psychology graduate from Amity University, Noida with over 3 years of diverse experience in counseling. Being a product of alternative education, she is inspired to incorporate holistic and transformative teaching tools into her classroom. She believes in nudging individuals to explore and connect with their innate knowledge and strengths.

Swathy has held positions as a counselor in the Tamilnadu Police Department, remedial schools and clinics etc. She has been trained in Psychosocial wellbeing by the prestigious National Institute for Mental Health and Neurosciences Bangalore (NIMHANS) and undergone extensive training in incorporating various psychological tools in therapy settings. She is currently pursuing Module 1 of the Cambridge International Certificate for teaching and learning.

Through her holistic classroom, she looks forward to creating strong, resilient, open-minded, happy children who grow into responsible, loving individuals. She makes her classroom a safe, open explorative space for children to be their true selves.

Ms. Deepa is a motivated and experienced French language Educator and a committed Francophile to teach the language and possess it as a second soul. She started her career as a Montessori Educator, as a passionate learner and teacher she chose teaching French as her profession. She has overall 12 years of teaching experience in various boards, In addition she served as an Assistant professor in St Patrick College of arts and guest lecturer in Loyola ICAM. She has earned a Bachelors in Business Administration she holds diploma in French C1 from Alliance Française de Madras and advanced Diploma in Montessori.
