Ms. Saran Kaur
Principal
Ms. Saran is an experienced international educator with over 9 years of teaching International curriculum including the International Baccalaureate and Cambridge, in South East Asian countries (Indonesia), teaching students from multicultural backgrounds and learning local languages – to go with her fluency in Hindi, Bengali, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia and Punjabi. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Education from the University of Bath, United Kingdom, to add to International Diplomas in Early Childhood and Primary Education and an Honors Bachelor Degree in English Literature. She has completed her Post Graduate Diploma in School Leadership and Management. She has significant experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in IB Schools. She strives to make teaching and learning fun and meaningful for her students. At Sarvalokaa she oversees the whole school curriculum, facilitates the teacher training programs and enrichment programs for parents as well. She is also a mentor for the Cambridge International Certificate of Teaching and Learning at Sarvalokaa.
Apart from teaching, her interests lie in art and culture, reading books on child psychology as well as vegan cooking.

Mr. John Kurian
Vice Principal
Mr. John Kurian, is an experienced facilitator and leader with a demonstrated history of working in the education industry for the last 25 years. Mr. Kurian joined the Chettinad - Sarvaloka Education Family as a Vice Principal from the academic year 2023-24. Having 15 years of rich experience in Cambridge Curriculum specialised with ICT/IT and worked as a Cambridge Coordinator, Exams officer & IT Educator in different Cambridge Schools in India and Abroad. He is an English Literature graduate who also completed his Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and has done various Computer courses such as PGDCA, DCA, DIT in his career. Besides that, he is a trained Cambridge Educator and has done Google Educator courses to enhance his professional knowledge.
His objective is to be a part of the school to work with commitment, share the knowledge & experience to help the institution to achieve its objectives and mould the learners as global citizens. Along with academic rigour, he focuses on pastoral care and well-being, mindfulness, digital technology, E-Learning, and mentoring.
He enjoys his life with a positive attitude and spends time in spiritual activities, yoga, blogging, gardening, cooking etc to engage the body and mind in a balanced way.

Ms. Revathy Indragopal
School Co-Ordinator / Exams Officer / Subject Lead-French
Ms Revathy, a B.tech IT graduate with 5 years of leadership experience in a French corporate sector always had a flair and passion towards French from her school days. She moved towards her passion and completed C1 from Alliance Française of Madras. She is currently pursuing a PG diploma in School Leadership & Management. She is a seasoned French facilitator with over 7 years of experience in teaching International curriculums such as Cambridge and IBDP to students from multicultural backgrounds. She is a certified Cambridge and IBDP Ab initio, B SL facilitator. She has been the “Language Coordinator” for over a year in an international Cambridge & IBDP school. Furthermore, she has been an external French examiner for the speaking component for other international schools. She believes “The aim of education is the knowledge not of facts but of values.”
Apart from English and French, Ms. Revathy is fluent in Tamil and Telugu as well. On the personal front, Ms Revathy enjoys exploring different places and reading books.

Ms Preetha is an educator with over 12 years of experience in science field and academic leadership across CBSE and IGCSE curriculum. She holds a Master’s in Education and an M.Phil in Microbiology, and is a Gold Medalist in Biomedical Sciences. She is also CTET qualified and was ranked among the top 10 percentile globally in the International Teachers Olympiad.
At Sarvalokaa, she serves as the Academic Coordinator, where she is aiming to support curriculum planning, instructional practices, and teacher mentoring across grades. She works closely with learners and facilitators to nurture academic curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning.

Ms. Akansha Jaiswal

With over 21 years of distinguished experience in biology education, Ms. Akansha Jaiswal is dedicated to inspiring students and fostering a profound understanding of the natural world. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor’s in Education from the University of Allahabad, complemented by a Postgraduate Diploma in Textile Design from IIFT New Delhi. Her passion for teaching and research has seen her educate students across India, and she is a certified IGCSE Biology and Global Perspectives educator, having taught the Cambridge curriculum for over 8 years.

She is a Certified Educational Therapist with 7 years of in depth experience in helping children with special needs. She is a certified Cambridge facilitator who has completed her Cambridge teaching and learning certification with a distinction. Ms. Marieta Restrepo brings with her an impressive 26 years of experience in education. Ms. Restrepo has worked as a teacher, school principal, coordinator, and her diverse background has given her a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities in schools today.
She is passionate about promoting sustainability, equity and ensuring that all students have access to the resources and support they need to succeed.
As our Early Years and Primary Years coordinator, Mrs. Restrepo is excited to build on the strong foundation that has been established at our school. Although she is the facilitator of English by designation, once in a class and amongst learners there are countless number of roles she thinks she has to play, some of them being ‘researcher extraordinaire’, ‘the one who knows it all’, ‘entertainer’, ‘agony aunt’ and her most favourite ‘my safe space’. A painter during her free time, she feels learners are the colours to her life. Her over 20 years of experience as an educator, life skills coordinator, counsellor, and language facilitator in diverse schools and NGOs which adds to her dynamic teaching and learning style with the ability to connect spontaneously with various age groups.
She had been a theatre artist from National school of Drama, Delhi. She has presented Indian culture and worked actively in many community events as a volunteer, storyteller and performer during her recent stay in Yokohama, Japan.
In her current role as a Hindi facilitator, she aims to make children more able, develop love and sustain interest in the language through activity-based sessions and enriching experiences.

With an M.Sc. in Physics, B.Ed., and CTET certifications, Ms. Jyothika leverages her STEM background to make language learning dynamic and effective. Certified at the C1 level in Spanish by the Embassy of Spain, she designs technology-enhanced, interactive lessons with hands-on activities, tailoring every experience to engage and empower students.

Mr. Vigneshwararaja G
Primary Art Facilitator
Mr. Vigneshwararaja G is a Primary Art & Design Facilitator at Sarvalokaa. He is an Art Educator with BFA from Govt. College of Fine Arts, Chennai also did PG diploma in digital photography and visual communication, Tamil Nadu music and Fine arts University, Chennai.
He worked as an assistant art director in a few kollywood movies and he took part as an art director in a couple of the short films. He has 3 years teaching experience as a CBSE art educator and 4 years of experience as Cambridge educator.
He thinks as an educator we have to nurture good citizens for the future and bring out creators with uniqueness.

Mr. Arun Pandiyan holds Masters in Physical Education from Tamil Nadu Sports University, He is a self motivated state level athlete sports and fitness coach who has implemented various individual and group activities and teaching health education programs. He has secured "India's fittest college" title by representing Madras Christian College in New Delhi. He is a World Athletics pre-level 1 coach and is extremely passionate to train the young learners. He believes sports can change every child's life. He had been working as Director of Sports in various institutions for the past 6 years. He has a strong will to create a lifelong passion for Sports and fitness in young minds.

Mr. Basha is a dedicated professional athlete with a B.P.Ed qualification from SV University in Andhra Pradesh. His impressive track record includes winning both gold and bronze medals at the national and state levels. Beyond his athletic pursuits, he is fueled by a deep passion for exploring the wonders of nature and all things related to the great outdoors.

Ms. Disha is a compassionate and dedicated school counselor, with a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology, specializing in Counseling and Psychotherapy. With a background as an assistant Montessori teacher and academic training in counseling, she brings a nurturing and empathetic approach to supporting students’ emotional and psychological well-being.
Her experience in the Montessori environment has equipped her with a deep understanding of child-centered learning and the importance of independence, self-expression, and emotional safety. As a counselor, she is committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental and supportive space where every child feels heard, respected, valued, and understood.

Ms. Sujitha is an experienced librarian with a demonstrated history of working in Academic libraries. She is skilled in resource management, library research, collection development, classification, cataloguing, and digitisation. She has commendable knowledge in library software. She has a Master’s degree and PGDLAN in Library and information technology from Pondicherry university. She loves story-telling, enjoys reading books, loves cooking and gardening. She is passionate about creating a reading environment for children and tries to instil a love for reading for all age-groups to bring out one;s imaginative self to life.

Ms. Kavitha Srikumar

Ms. Kavitha Sri Kumar is a dedicated teaching professional with around twelve years of teaching experience. She has gained experience as an administrator having been principal of primary school for three years. In addition to being a Bachelor of Education, she has done Nursery Teachers Training and Diploma in Learning Disabilities. She is passionate and committed and takes her task as a Special Educator with utmost sincerity.

Ms. Sunita Tampi

Ms. Sunita Tampi has over 31 years of experience in the field of education of which 26 years has been with schools in the UAE following the International Baccalaureate and the Cambridge Curriculum. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Madras and a Diploma in Pre-school Education from the Avinashilingam Deemed University ,Coimbatore. She has also completed her Bachelors of Education from the Annamalai University. Ms.Sunita's interest and aptitude towards teaching children with learning differences encouraged her to specialize in the field of Inclusion in the Classroom in 2016. She believes in adopting a personalised approach to teaching students that instil confidence in their abilities and potential and encourages them to be lifelong learners and dreamers.
Ms.Sunita's other interests include crocheting, sketching, painting and yoga.
